It would be cool to have an events topic. There are tons of Pibble-related events nationwide, many of which we attend or host.... Not sure if people usually just use the calendar on this site though.... Or rescues would be a good one too. Or areas with BSL. :)

yep, exercise, and a toy that keeps them interested will curb some of the destruction.
I stuff a hollow beef bone (a long one, so she can't exactly reach the middle) with penut butter and a treat or two, really jam it inside, and it keeps mine busy for hours. |

They are just a high energy breed. Honestly they need walked an average of an hour a day. It's hard to do but it's part of being a pit bull owner. He'll chill out when he's old. but that'll be a while. |

I know what you mean. Thankfully where we live the is no BSL in fact out town is pretty pit bull friendly. While our Uggi in a rescue we're pretty sure he's staffy and possibly bulldog. My sister rescued an APBT, she is papered, ended up at the resuce due to a neglect case. Her owners had about 25 dogs that they showed...bu they got into crack and speed and ended up leaving their dogs locked in their kennels to fend for them selves. my sister's dog is one of about 10 that survived.

Ok so photobucket doesn't work here.....guess I'll have to up load that pick of my dog Uggi. Ok this is my Uggi. We adopted him from Villaloos Rescue Center in So. Cal. They are actually the largest Pit Bull only rescue in the nation....she has 200 dogs there ALL the time. Yes i sound like a commercial for them but only because I believ in what they are doing. she did great for the most part. she waited until I got home to have them. I took her out the the bathroom and she came in and dropped the first one in the dinning room then headed to where she had been nesting to have the rest of them. I had to bring her the one from the dining room. lol I guess "where she was nesting" should be translated to my bed.
she had trouble with one pup and it made it a couple of days but we found it had a cleft pallet so the poor little thing was basically doomed from the start.
I did kind of latch on to one of the pups for myself so I've definitely got a houseful but thats cool I love my dogs.
Anyhow I kept in touch with the vet and she made sure the bitch was ok through everything although it might be a bit of a help that my girlfriend works at the vet clinic we take all our dogs to. It's kind of funny now too because if people have breed specific questions about them now she seems to tell them to ask me unless it's serious vet stuff.
